Unfortunately we have been unable to play the last three re arranged matches of the season as Yelverton Mosquitoes, Tavistock and Cornwood Dels have all for various reasons been unable to fulfill the fixtures.
We have finished second in the table behind the unbeaten Plympton St Maurice in what has been a fantastic season and I would like to say a big thankyou to all the players involved and to the parents for transporting the players to the fixtures and for supporting the team.
Special thanks to veryone who has helped with the coaching in particular Mark Rose, Alex Goodey and Jon Varcoe with help from Dom Bryant.
Big thanks to Gerald Edmonds who umpired all the matches bar one and to Rhys Callicotts mum for helping with the scoring.
Thanks also to Jo and Fred for the 'facilities management' throughout the summer.
Saturday training will continue throughout August and I have arranged a friendly against Nick Moules Under 10 side on Tuesday August 18th - details to follow.

Plymouth Peverell U11 posted their largest win of the season at Peverell Park last night beating Plympton St Mary's by 171 runs.
Plympton won the toss and elected to bat and after a lengthy rain delay finished on 152 losing 12 wickets in the process. Pick of the Plymouth bowlers were Dan Goodey with 3 for 6 and Rhys Callicott 3 for 3 off just 2 overs.
In reply Plymouth scored 323 with only 1 dismissal and notable innings from the Edmonds brothers with Lewis on 24 not out and Luke 19 not out.
Next week we have a league match away to Cornwood Dels on Tuesday and in all probability the cup semi final on the Thursday night. We will be playing either Plympton St Maurice or Plymstock at home, who play each other in the quarter final this Sunday weather permitting.
Our last two league fixtures of the season are scheduled for 29 July Yelverton Mosquitoes at home and August 4 Tavistock at home. After that I'm hoping to arrange a few friendlies to involve the whole of the squad so 'watch this space'
