Anyone looking for a club in London?
Hey guys,
Just wondering if any current or ex-Plymouth players are in and around London with work or university etc etc...
If so, and you're looking to carry on cricket in London, I can recommend coming along to Blackheath Cricket Club. The club has 8 Saturday teams playing League cricket, ranging from the 1st XI who play in the very competitive Kent Premier League; right down to the Mighty 8s, who manage to win an impressive number of matches given that they drink enough to fell a small rhinoceros. There are also 2 Sunday teams. Just google us if you are interested.
I'm the new skipper of the 4ths, who play in Kent 2nd XI Div II - the standard is probably between Premier and A Div 2nd XI league in Devon. We play on some nice grounds and its competitive cricket and a good club atmosphere in the bar afterwards.
