A fiine first season of hard ball rewarded with Devon Place.

When Joe Hagen Burt turned up at training in April, nobody could have predicted what was to follow. Having had an outstanding season with the under 10's he went on to West Devon trials and secured a place in that squad. That in itself was a fine achievement, but he has now gone on to earn a Devon place, after performing brilliantly in the trials a couple of weekends ago. Huge congratulations go to him on his achievement, and I wish him all the best, for club and county in the forthcoming season.
